Roxtec

DCCI brings together a wide spectrum of digital infrastructure stakeholders. At this event, what kinds of partnerships, collaborations, or outcomes is Roxtec aiming to achieve?

At DCCI, our priority is to engage early with key stakeholders including owners, consultants, contractors, and technology partners to ensure that resilience, safety, and scalability are embedded at the design stage rather than addressed later as corrective measures.

We aim to collaborate on shared challenges such as increasing rack densities, evolving regulatory requirements, and sustainability targets across Southeast Asia.

Ultimately, Roxtec seeks to contribute to standardising best practices in datacentre design, helping the industry build infrastructure that is not only efficient today, but resilient, scalable, and future-ready for decades.

With the introduction of the Roxtec Cabinet Seal Platform (CSP) transits for high cable density applications, how do you believe this product will help new generation datacentre designs manage space constraints and cable routing challenges more effectively?

As cable density continues to rise, real challenges for new gen datacentre is not just on space, but also adaptability. Roxtec Cabinet Seal Platform (CSP) addresses this by enabling high cable fill within compact footprint, while maintaining fire safety, environmental sealing and cable protection. More important, Roxtec CSP supports a shift towards flexibility, and fast-moving infrastructure. The modular design allow cabling to evolve without disruption, supporting better airflow, clearer cable organisation and faster upgrading. In a sector where scalability and uptime define success, Roxtec CSP helps datacentres move from rigid design to resilient and future ready architecture.

Your solutions have been deployed in high-demand industries like energy and telecommunications. How do you adapt your product offering to meet the specific requirements of rapidly expanding cloud and digital infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia?

Many of the recent demands faced by cloud and digital infrastructure projects like availability, operational safety, and controlled environments are challenges Roxtec has been addressing for decades in sectors like energy and telecommunications. We bring that proven engineering mindset into the datacentre space and adapting it for higher cable densities, faster change cycles and minimal tolerance for downtime. Our approach is centred on modularity, scalability, and long‑term resilience. By enabling safe, flexible upgrades without structural rework, we help datacentres evolve at the pace of digital demand. In Southeast Asia, this is further strengthened by designs that account for local environmental conditions, ensuring infrastructure that is not only built for today’s requirements, but ready for what comes next.

With the growing complexity of global supply chains, how does Roxtec ensure its solutions meet the evolving demands for safety, scalability, and sustainability in a datacentre construction landscape as dynamic as that of ASEAN?

Roxtec addresses these challenges by combining global engineering standards with strong local responsiveness. Our sealing solutions are independently tested and certified for fire, environmental, and EMC performance, ensuring consistent reliability regardless of project scale or location.

From a scalability standpoint, our modular sealing system allows cables and pipes to be added or upgraded without compromising protection or requiring structural rework—an approach that aligns well with the phased expansion model common in ASEAN datacentres. Importantly, this reduces installation risk, minimises downtime, and lowers lifecycle costs. Sustainability is also embedded in our design philosophy, with solutions built for long service life and reusability.

Roxtec has been a global leader in cable and pipe sealing solutions for decades. Can you give us a brief overview of the company’s presence and focus in Southeast Asia?

Roxtec has built a strong and steadily growing presence across Southeast Asia, with Malaysia emerging as a key hub for hyperscale and colocation datacentre developments. We have supported critical infrastructure projects across industries including marine, energy, telecommunications, transportation, and increasingly, datacentres.

Through regional offices, local technical teams, and long-term partners, we stay close to customers and align with country-specific standards and regulatory requirements. In Malaysia, our focus is on delivering reliable, flexible, and long-term sealing solutions that enhance fire safety, operational resilience, and uptime in mission-critical environments.
